The tour officially begins with your pick-up from your hotel as we head toward the Taurus Mountains in Central Anatolia's Alpine belt. After breakfast, we make our way to the city of Konya, where we take a lunch break. We then visit the Mevlana Museum in Konya, where you'll get insight into Turkish Sufi culture and history. The next stop is a visit to the underground city of Saratli Kirkgöz in the Aksaray province. This early Byzantine underground city will surely fascinate you with its numerous rooms, tunnels, and living spaces like kitchens, stables, storage rooms, meeting rooms, and churches. Afterwards, you'll experience a Whirling Dervish ceremony. Rooted in centuries-old religious traditions of Anatolia, this mystic ceremony will be an incredible experience, watching the dervishes whirl in harmony with Sufi music. After a fun-filled day, you'll check into your hotel to relax. If you wish, you can attend a traditional Turkish night show at a nearby cave restaurant, enjoying Turkish music and folk dances.

If you want to take a hot air balloon ride, the second day will start earlier for you, as the balloons launch at 05:00 AM at sunrise. The second day promises more excitement as you explore Cappadocia. Following breakfast at the hotel, your journey will begin at Pasabağ Valley, where you will discover stunning fairy chimneys. A visit to the ancient Greek village of Cavusin follows, where you'll explore the Church of St. John the Baptist. After a visit to this mystical village, a lunch break will follow, and then you'll head to the Uchisar Castle, where you can see two giant fairy chimneys Side by Side, which were once used as a fortress. To finish the day, you'll visit the Pigeon Valley. Named after the hundreds of pigeons that make their homes in the fairy chimneys of the area, this valley offers plenty of beautiful photo opportunities. Following this stop, you'll head back to your hotel to unwind and get ready for the last day of the tour.

Cappadocia Is A Gift Of Nature To Anatolia

Cappadocia, literally meaning "Land of Beautiful Horses" in Persian, is located in the heart of Anatolia and is home to many extinct volcanoes. Millions of years ago, these volcanoes were active, and their eruptions filled the region with lava and ash. Over time, erosion, wind, and rivers have shaped Cappadocia's present-day appearance. Today, the region features numerous cones and towers made of soft volcanic rock, known as "fairy chimneys." During this tour, you will see these amazing natural formations in many valleys, including the Love Valley, Monk's Valley, Imagination Valley, and Pigeon Valley.

Cappadocia was a sanctuary for early Christians who sought refuge from Roman persecution for centuries. You will visit the first churches, residential areas, and underground cities that these believers carved into the fairy chimneys long ago. The 3-day Cappadocia tour is a must for those who want to understand Anatolian culture more deeply.

Hot Air Balloon Ride In Cappadocia

Cappadocia is globally renowned for its breathtaking landscape, and viewing it from a hot air balloon basket is genuinely an exciting adventure. The hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia is set for the morning of the second day of the three-day tour. Our guides will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the launch site. After receiving basic instructions and enjoying a light breakfast on-site, the thrilling ride into the sky begins. The flight lasts for one hour, and a champagne celebration follows afterwards. All participants will receive a hot air balloon flight certificate. The wind and weather conditions must be suitable for the balloons to take off. Even during the summer, the mornings can be cool, so it’s advisable to bring warm clothing if you wish to participate in the tour. Experiencing the sunrise from a hot air balloon soaring high above the fairy chimneys will be the highlight of your journey. Please note that the balloon ride is not included in the excursion price. If you would like to participate, kindly indicate this when booking your tour.
