Köprülü Canyon, one of Turkey’s most famous natural landmarks, is a national park located near the small town of Beşkonak in Manavgat. The Köprüçay River, flowing through this breathtaking park, is among Turkey's most popular rafting destinations. Rafting on its cool, white waters, which meander through the canyon, is a must for adventure enthusiasts visiting the Turkish Riviera. With a rapid classification above level 2—where the most challenging rivers exceed level 6—Köprüçay is one of Turkey's best-suited rivers for rafting. Regardless of age, anyone with basic swimming skills can easily enjoy this thrilling experience.

We will pick you up from your hotel in our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles and head to the rafting centre at Köprülü Canyon. Upon arrival, you will receive your safety equipment, including helmets and life jackets, which must be worn throughout the tour. Our experienced guides will then provide a briefing on the upcoming adventure.

To ensure everyone is placed in the right group, our guides will organize the rafts based on the languages spoken, assigning a captain to each boat. Before setting off, you will ease into the cool river water with a short body rafting session, where participants follow each other downstream to get accustomed to the temperature. Once everyone boards their rafts, the real adventure begins! Any initial nerves will quickly fade as you embrace the excitement of working together as a team. With each stroke, you will navigate the powerful currents of the Köprüçay River, feeling the true spirit of the sport.

The total rafting course is approximately 14 km long. After about 40 minutes on the water, we’ll take a 20-minute break along the riverbank. During this break, you can enjoy the sunshine, take a refreshing swim, or participate in thrilling activities like cliff diving from platforms or tall trees into the cool river. After the break, the rafting adventure continues to a riverside restaurant at the halfway point, where a freshly prepared lunch awaits.

The lunch menu includes BBQ chicken, rice, pasta, and a fresh salad. After refuelling, the journey resumes for another thrilling section of rafting. After approximately 20 more minutes on the water, you will arrive at the final stop of the adventure. At the end of the tour, you can watch a video recording of your experience and browse photos taken throughout the trip.

Spanning 14 km in length, Köprülü Canyon is one of Turkey’s longest canyons, with towering cliffs reaching over 100 meters high.

The Side Köprülü Canyon Rafting Tour is organized in teams of 8-10 people. Our professional guides will provide you with all the necessary information and training before the tour begins.

Your safety is our top priority, and our team takes all necessary precautions seriously. You must wear life jackets and helmets during the tour. Children are seated in the middle of the boat for extra security.

With a difficulty level of 2+ (on a scale where the most extreme rivers are 6+), the Köprüçay River offers one of the safest and most enjoyable rafting experiences in Turkey.

Participation & Pricing

Children under the age of 12 can participate in the tour with parental consent. Kids aged 5 to 12 pay half price, while those under 5 can join for free.

Storage & Personal Items

Your belongings will be securely stored on the bus during the tour.

Footwear

You can wear sneakers or any waterproof shoes suitable for rafting. If you don’t have appropriate footwear, rafting shoes can be purchased at the rafting center.

Smoking Policy

Smokers can store their cigarettes in a designated box and access them during breaks.
