This three-day journey to Cappadocia from Alanya promises an unforgettable adventure through one of Turkey’s most extraordinary regions. The tour begins early in the morning, around 05:00, with a hotel pick-up anywhere between Antalya and Alanya. As we travel through the Taurus Mountains, we stop for breakfast before continuing to Konya, where you'll enjoy lunch and visit the Mevlana Museum—home to the spiritual legacy of Rumi and Turkish Sufism. From there, we head to the underground city of Saratlı Kirkgöz in Aksaray. Hidden beneath the earth, this ancient Byzantine city amazes with its labyrinth of tunnels and rooms once used for daily life and worship. In the evening, we attend a Whirling Dervish ceremony, offering a spiritual and cultural experience that captures the mystic soul of Anatolia. After a day full of discovery, we check into our hotel in Cappadocia. For those interested, the night continues with a traditional Turkish evening show at a nearby cave restaurant, featuring folk music and dancing. On the second day, those who wish to join the famous hot-air balloon ride will rise early to watch the sun illuminate Cappadocia’s surreal landscape from the sky. After breakfast at the hotel, we begin exploring the region, starting with the unique fairy chimneys of Pasabağ Valley. We continue to the old Greek village of Çavuşin, where you'll visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, followed by a break for lunch. The day continues with a visit to Uçhisar Castle—once used as a fortress—and ends with a relaxing stroll through Pigeon Valley, a peaceful spot with fantastic photo opportunities. After a full day of sightseeing, we return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. The final day begins in the pottery town of Avanos, where you’ll visit a ceramics workshop and can even try shaping clay yourself. Then we visit the Three Graces, Cappadocia’s famous trio of fairy chimneys. On the way back to Alanya, we stop at the Oresin Caravanserai, a 700-year-old Seljuk-era rest stop for traders. After lunch and a few breaks along the way, we arrive back in Alanya around 18:30. This tour includes all transportation, hotel accommodation, meals, entrance fees, and a multilingual professional guide. Whether it's the history, the landscapes, or the culture that draws you in, this Cappadocia tour offers an unforgettable experience for every traveler.
Cappadocia, meaning "Land of Beautiful Horses" in ancient Persian, is a region shaped by nature and steeped in history. Millions of years ago, volcanoes covered this part of Central Anatolia in ash and lava. Over time, wind and water sculpted the soft volcanic rock into the extraordinary formations we see today—iconic fairy chimneys rising from valleys like Love Valley, Monk's Valley, Imagination Valley, and Pigeon Valley. But Cappadocia is more than just a geological wonder. It was once a safe haven for early Christians fleeing Roman persecution. Hidden beneath and within the rocks are centuries-old churches, homes, and underground cities carved directly into the stone. Walking through these sacred spaces offers a deep insight into the spiritual and cultural roots of Anatolia. A visit to Cappadocia is not just about admiring landscapes—it's about connecting with history, faith, and tradition.
Few experiences compare to floating above Cappadocia's dreamlike terrain at sunrise. On the morning of the second day of the tour, you'll have the chance to join a hot air balloon flight—one of the region's most iconic adventures. You'll get picked up from your hotel bright and early and taken to the launch site, where a light breakfast will be waiting for you. After a safety briefing, you'll rise gently into the sky as the sun casts its first light over the valleys below. The flight lasts about an hour, followed by a small celebration with champagne and a flight certificate for each participant. Please note that balloon flights depend on suitable weather conditions and are not included in the tour price. If you'd like to reserve a spot, be sure to let us know when booking. Even in summer, the early mornings can be chilly, so we recommend bringing warm clothing. Seeing the sunrise over the fairy chimneys from a hot air balloon is absolutely the best part of the trip—it's a memory you'll hold onto even after you're back home.
During the Cappadocia tour, you’ll stay in a cosy 3-star hotel where each room comes with two comfortable beds. The hotel’s pleasant interior and exterior design reflect the charm of the region, and the friendly staff are always ready to assist you with traditional Turkish hospitality. While in Cappadocia, you can also opt to enjoy a traditional Turkish Night Show—a colourful evening of belly dancing, live music, and folk dances in a lively atmosphere. This entertaining experience lasts about three hours and includes unlimited local drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), fruits, and snacks. Participation in the Turkish Night Show is optional and costs 35 euros per person.
Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guides will offer detailed insights into each location and ensure you feel well looked after. On the first day, you may bring breakfast or a packed lunch from your hotel to enjoy during the drive. We recommend wearing flat, comfortable shoes and bringing a camera to capture unforgettable moments. Mornings and evenings in Cappadocia can be chilly—even in summer—so don’t forget to pack warm clothing. There will be brief stops at an onyx stone centre and a leather workshop during the tour, providing a chance to learn more about local craftsmanship. Kids under 3 can join the trip for free! Just a quick note: they won’t have their own seat so, will need to sit on a parent’s lap. If you want your little one to have their own seat, make sure to book them as a paying child participant. For full clarity, we advise checking what is included and excluded in the tour package.
