Located approximately 100 km from Side, the journey to Sapadere Canyon takes you through the winding roads of the Taurus Mountains, with a scenic drive passing through the vibrant city of Alanya. Once at the canyon, you'll embark on a guided 7-hour tour, walking along its picturesque pathways.
A delightful lunch from fresh local ingredients awaits you, featuring grilled fish or chicken, rice, pasta, and salad. You'll also have the chance to sample organic Anatolian delicacies, traditionally prepared at a charming restaurant near the canyon.
The 750-meter walk through the canyon is relaxing and rejuvenating, accompanied by the soothing sounds of flowing water—a natural form of therapy. The Cüceler Cave, also known as the Dwarf Cave, is one of the main attractions on the way to the Sapadere Canyon. Located just 3 km from the canyon, it draws tourists year-round. The patterns of stalactites and stalagmites are so intricate that it feels like an artist carefully crafted the stones and wax to create them. Another name for this cave is the 'Rainbow Cave' due to the incredible variety of colours in the stalactites. You can photograph these natural patterns and marvel at the artistry of nature. The Dwarf Cave is also considered a natural healing place for those with asthma or other respiratory issues. The cave has its own legend, which the locals are eager to share with visitors from all over the world. It is said that a dwarf hid there after running away from home, but it was later found. You’ll be able to see the dwarf's story unfold from your own perspective.
